Hey there, Conversations with Kris fans! I'm back with another blog post, this time for episode 7 of the podcast titled "Please Underestimate Me."
In this episode, I delve into the topic of being underestimated and how it can be a source of motivation and inspiration. As a veteran and yoga teacher, I've faced my fair share of underestimation throughout my life. But rather than letting it hold me back, I've used it as fuel to propel me forward.
I talk about how being underestimated can actually be a blessing in disguise, allowing us to surprise ourselves and others with what we're truly capable of. It can also teach us humility and the importance of not judging others based on their perceived abilities.
Throughout the episode, I share personal stories of times when I was underestimated and how I used that as an opportunity to rise to the occasion. I also give tips on how to use underestimation as motivation and how to turn it into a positive force in your life.
As always, my long-time student, Tara, is there to interview me and ask thought-provoking questions to help deepen the conversation. We also touch on how societal stereotypes and biases can lead to underestimation and how we can work to break down those barriers.
You can find this episode and all previous episodes of Conversations with Kris on Spotify, iTunes, IHeartRadio, Google Podcasts, and other popular podcast platforms. Thanks for tuning in, and remember: please underestimate me.
